7th Ward picnic is Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

The 7th Ward Citizens Coalition invites all those living in the ward, their families and friends to an “Old Fashioned Community Picnic” at Lynn Park on Lynn Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Those coming are asked to bring their own chairs, and a casserole to share. The coalition will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.

Green Youngstown will do crafts with kids, and the police department’s bomb squad robot and a fire truck will be there. There will be various contests too. For more information or to make reservations, call 330-788-9277.
