Office furniture offered at sale
YOUNGSTOWN
Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership, 1325 Fifth Ave., is having a basement sale of gently used office furniture from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Items include office chairs, desks, nonfolding tables, small televisions, lockers, book shelves, doll house, cubicle panels, cubicle desks, cubicle tables and a few General Fireproofing Co. desks.
The only form of payment is cash. No checks, money orders or credit cards will be accepted.
All proceeds will be reinvested into MYCAP programs that help eligible Mahoning County residents.

Police cite driver and passenger
CAMPBELL
Police pulled over a maroon SUV traveling on McCartney Road about 9 p.m. Monday, with several air fresheners and a handicap parking permit hanging from the rear view mirror, which obstructed the driver’s view.
Officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the SUV.
The driver, James E. Anderson Jr., 42, had a suspended license, as well as a suspected crack pipe in his pocket.
The passenger, Sandra J. Anderson, 42, had an unlabeled pill bottle containing five oxycodone pills and 16 oxycodone/acetaminophen pills.
James Anderson was cited for the rear-view mirror obstruction, for driving under suspension and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sandra Anderson was cited for possession of drugs and for the unlabeled prescription.
