Froomkin-Burak wedding plans are announced

YOUNGSTOWN

Michael and Gail Froomkin of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Carly Froomkin, and Steve Burak, both of Champaign, Ill.

Ken and Lisa Burak of Romeo, Mich., are the parents of the future groom.

Invitations will be issued for a wedding and reception Oct. 5 at the Grand Traverse Resort, Traverse City, Mich.

Miss Froomkin earned a bachelor’s degree in Judaic studies at the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in comparative religion from Western Michigan University. She works as an engagement director for Hillel at the University of Illinois, Champaign.

Her fiancé attended Western Michigan University and works for PetSmart in Champaign.
