Stream creatures program for kids Friday

MERCER, Pa.

Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road, has teamed with the Mercer County Conservation District to host informational programs for children age 5 to 8 throughout the summer.

A “stream creatures” class will teach techniques to collect and identify stream animals and how the animals are significant indicators of stream health. The class will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the farm. The program is appropriate for ages 5 to 7.

For organizers to prepare materials, registration is required by Tuesday. Cost is $5.
