Neighborhood Ministries will sponsor a charity golf scramble Aug. 10 at Deer Creek Golf Course, 7691 E. Liberty St.

Registration will begin at noon, and the shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. The event will include a steak dinner at the end of the competition.

Prizes will be given for the longest drive and closest to the pin. The first-place team will win $400 and a hole-in-one will win $10,000.

The registration deadline is Aug. 1. Individual and four-person teams will cost $260; corporation four-person teams and hole sponsors are $600; single individuals are $65; and event sponsors with banner recognition, business fliers and notice in the Neighborhood Ministries newsletter cost $250.
