Tom Pilkington of Lowellville aced the No. 8 hole at Bedford Trails. He used a 7-iron on the 115-yard shot. Witnesses were Don Granchay, Moon Gulu, Dave Naymick and Daral Brett. It was the fourth ace for Pilkington, the Lowellville High golf coach.
John Taylor of Sharpsville, Pa., aced the 138-yard No. 3 hole at Pine Lakes Golf Club. He used a 9-iron. Witnesses were Michael Izenas, Walt Cannon and Isaac Friday Jr.
Richard Brenner of Youngstown aced the 118-yard No. 17 hole at Kennsington. He used an 8-iron. Witness was Jim Brenner.
Steve Matasic Jr. of Lowellville aced the 340-yard No. 11 hole at Bedford Trails. He used his driver in the Coitsville Golf League match. William Miner witnessed the shot on the par 4 hole.
Eugene Ullrich aced the 170-yard No. 3 hole at Lakeside. He used a 7-hybrid. Witnesses were David Pickwick and David Dearth.
Sean Croell of Newton Falls aced the 172-yard No. 8 at Olde Dutch Mill.
Tony Joseph aced the 170-yard No. 3 at Lakeside with a 5-iron. Witnesses were Mike Zlenka, Jesse Riggleman, Fred Gallo and Rachel Joseph.
Dave Sanders of Salem aced the 121-yard No. 15 at Reserve Run. Witnesses were Jim Pridemore, Bill Garlock and Bill Penfold.
