Summer program will offer bridge classes


SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Hermitage Parks and Recreation Summer Program is celebrating its fifth year of providing Bridge For Kids Really Rocks, which gives youths the opportunity to learn to play bridge while improving memory, logic and mathematical skills and it also is fun and exciting. Above are some of last year’s participants. The course will be offered from 10 a.m. until noon July 22 through 26 at the Hermitage City Building, 800 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa. Participants must have completed grades 5 through 12. Parents, grandparents or adult friends also can take the lessons. The cost is $15 per person, and scholarships are offered. Registration forms are available at the city building and participants are encouraged to register before the classes begin.
