Boardman 911 dispatcher harassed
BOARDMAN
A Boardman Township 911 dispatcher says he was harassed by a Columbus man who called Wednesday morning threatening to kill himself.
The dispatcher said that while he tried locating the man, the man hung up the phone. Another call was made in an attempt to locate and help him. After about 28 calls later, the man told the dispatcher “he was a pretty good shot” and wanted to die by suicide by cop, according to a report.
Once the dispatcher determined the man was in Columbus, he contacted its police department who told him police there arrested the man on an unknown charge.
