Scrappers-ValleyCats game postponed

NILES — Persistent rain and thunderstorms forced the postponement of tonight's New York-Penn League baseball game between the Mahoning Valley Scrappers and the Tri-City ValleyCats at Eastwood Field.

The teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday. Each game is set for seven innings.
