Event to feature Browns player
Austintown
A birthday celebration for Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson will be Friday at O’Donold’s Irish Pub and Grill in Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Richardson played college football for the University of Alabama, was recognized as an All-American, and was a member of two national championship teams. He became the first Browns rookie to rush for more than 100 yards and score rushing and receiving touchdowns in the same game.
African-American Wellness Walk
YOUNGSTOWN
The first Youngstown-Warren African-American Male Wellness Walk will take place Aug. 31 at Holy Trinity Church, 505 Parkcliffe Ave.
The event, part of a national initiative, aims to improve the health status of African-American men. It will begin at 7:30 a.m. with health screenings. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Walk was established to address the fact that black men die earlier and at higher rates from preventable illnesses than any other ethnic group. It raises awareness provides free health screenings, giving the uninsured information about their health status.
