Summer programs for kids start July 15

MERCER, Pa.

Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road, has teamed with the Mercer County Conservation District to host informational summer programs for children age 5 to 8.

A basket-weaving class will explore how pioneers constructed baskets from 9 a.m. to noon July 15.

At the completion of the program, participants will take their own baskets home.

The program is appropriate for age 6 to 8.

For organizers to prepare materials, registration is required by Wednesday.

Cost is $5.
