Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise and breakfast at 8 a.m., monthly membership meeting at 9:30, bingo at 10, painting class at 10:15 and OSHIP social worker at 11:30; Tuesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and bingo at 10, bridge club at 10:30, Drums Alive at 11, Chinese cooking class at noon, car show at 6 p.m. and 20/9 Radio Club meeting at 7; Wednesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, jewelry making class at 11:30, tai chi and pizza party ($3) at noon and movie matinee, “The Devil Wears Prada,” at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday, wood carving at 9 a.m., yoga at 9:15, S.O.S. at 9:30, beginner crochet at 11, Bible student at noon and $5 dinner and grocery bingo at 5 p.m.; and Friday, open exercise at 8 a.m., garage sailing at 9 and bingo and discussion group at 10. Champion S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 4451 Mahoning Ave., will serve breakfast at 10:30 a.m. Mondays. The cost is $5 for members and $6.50 for nonmembers. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, needlecraft at 10 a.m. and bridge and Zumba at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, arts and crafts at 10 a.m. and beginner and intermediate bridge at noon; Wednesday, watercolors at 10 a.m., computer from 10 to noon, tap class at noon, 500 card club at 1 p.m., line-dancing at 1:30 and advanced computer at 2; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Diabetic Support Group at 10, exercise at noon and Texas Hold’em at 2 p.m.; and Friday, Wii bowling at 10 a.m., potluck senior lunch bunch with entertainment at 11:30, card games at noon, movie matinee at 1 p.m. and cornhole at 2 p.m. There will be a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through July 19, closed Sat. and Sun.
