Citizens coalitiion hosting cleanup on Mahoning Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN

Westside Citizens Coalition will host a cleanup event along Mahoning Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon July 20.

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at Strikers Bowling Alley, 2617 Mahoning Ave. Necessary supplies will be provided for cleanup.

Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing.

A light lunch will be available for participants.

The cleanup will gather members of the business community and other West Side neighborhood groups to benefit the community, while also recruiting members and bringing awareness to citywide issues.
