Church will sponsor picnic at Strossmayer

VIENNA

Second Holy Apostles Parish is sponsoring a picnic for the public July 21 at Strossmayer Picnic Grounds, 4202 Smith-Stewart Road. It will begin with an 11 a.m. Mass celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Rudjak.

The entrance fee is $5 each, and there will be food and beer to purchase. It will also include a bake sale.

Entertainment will be from noon to 2 p.m. by Happy Hearts Junior Tamburitzans and from 2 to 6 by the Mickey Dee Polka and Night Owl Tamburitzan bands.

There will be $25 drawings at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. A raffle of $2,000 in prizes will take place at 6. Winners do not need to be present.

Basket and lottery wreath raffles also will be available.
