Alex's Lemonade Stands to be at Pizza Huts next week

Pizza Hut restaurants throughout Northeast Ohio will raise funds for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation from next Saturday to July 31 to contribute to cures for kids with cancer. The drive will be kicked off by hosting stands in 22 Pizza Hut locations.

All 76 participating area Pizza Huts will sell paper lemons throughout the second half of the month to raise funds for the battle against childhood cancer.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front-yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was born in 1996 and died in 2004.

Locally, all Pizza Hut restaurants in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties will participate.
