When: Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m.

Details: The Garden Terrace with a view of Lake Glacier is the place to unwind after work. Enjoy wine, listen to music of Steve Vuich. Food available for purchase.

FAMILY GARDEN FRIDAYS!

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through September

What: Hands-on garden activities for children. Learn about vegetables with “Eat Your Colors” and see which insect is “Bug of the Week.”

Ladybugs Pre-K class

When: July 11, 1 to 2 p.m.; July 20, 11 a.m. to noon.

What: First of three preschool classes focuses on insects and creatures in the garden. Will spend some time in the Family Garden looking for ladybugs. Children will listen to a story, have a snack and make a ladybug craft.

Fee: $6 members; FFRG member, $4.

Botanical Dinners

When: Wednesday evenings

What: Enjoy dining on Garden Cafe Terrace overlooking Lake Glacier.

Details: Special menu featuring locally grown botanicals such as strawberries, peas, peaches, corn, specialty drink. Different vegetables, fruits, herbs will be highlighted when at their peak. Information will be presented by Gardens staff. July 10, potatoes/peppermint.

Dinner price: $28.50 plus tax

Summer Garden Party

What: “Reflections,” 25th anniversary of Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens’ annual fundraiser.

When: July 26, 6:30 p.m.

Details: Meander newly paved paths while enjoying appetizers and the evening’s signature drink. Dine in the gardens from an innovative menu. Dance to the music of Rudy and the Professionals.
