Pair arrested, 22 pounds of pot recovered in Boardman bust

BOARDMAN — A Youngstown man and woman were charged with trafficking marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile after police here recovered 22 pounds of marijuana among other drug paraphernalia inside a Sheridan Road residence Saturday morning.

Terrell Engles, 33, of Plazaview Court and Alexandria Scott, 21, of Elm Street were seen coming from the residence and taken into custody as police initiated a search.

Another man was questioned at the police department but later released, according to a report.

Police received authority to search the residence on Friday and met Saturday morning to devise an execution plan.
