Incendiary device causes North Side fire


YOUNGSTOWN — Fire reports say an “incendiary device” was thrown against the side of a vacant 338 Crandall Ave. home on the North Side about 2:30 a.m. today.

Crews who arrived found the device had been thrown through an open window and dug out the window frame to put the fire out.

Damage is listed at $1,000. No one was injured.
