Edwards is named Argus Lodge trustee

Robert Edwards, a longtime member and past master of Argus Lodge, was installed as a five-year trustee at a recent meeting.

Edwards is a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite and a member of York Rite, Al Koran Shrine and Aut Mori Grotto. He is a member of the clown unit, Who Me.

He retired as a captain from the U.S. Army in 1997, having served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.

Edwards also is a member of the advisory board of the Salvation Army and financial secretary of Youngstown Fraternal Order of Police 28.

He retired from the Youngstown Police Department as a detective in 2000.

He and his wife, Sharon, live in Youngstown.
