Diane Theis of Boardman was recognized for her accomplishments in retailing at the Premier Designs Jewelry Regional Rally in Pittsburgh on Jan. 12. Theis placed third as the result of retail sales, which were $36,644 from June to December last year. Theis has been working as an independent distributor for the company.

First National Bank of Pennsylvania has announced the recent hiring of J. MacGregor Tisdale as market executive and president of the bank’s new Maryland region. Tisdale will be responsible for integrating F.N.B.’s business model in core markets of Anne Arundel and Queen Anne counties. He will also attempt to develop business opportunities in the greater Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas. Before joining F.N.B., Tisdale served for 12 years with SunTrust Bank in Baltimore, Maryland as city president and commercial banking manager.

Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. has announced the promotion of Michael Kotheimer to senior associate. Since joining WJE in 2004, Kotheimer has gained extensive experience in construction observation, condition surveys, field testing and investigations of new and existing structures. Among the prominent projects he has worked on are the Constitution Center in Washington, D.C., and the Blair House in Silver Spring, Maryland. Though headquartered in Northbrook, Ill., Kotheimer works in the company’s Cleveland office.

Sharon Regional Health System has appointed Jean A. Corliss as coordinator for the Sharon Regional Health Foundation. She will join David Grober, foundation president, to focus on special events, fundraising and software management. Corliss has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Youngstown State University.

Turning Technologies has announced the appointment of Gary Morrison as vice president of international distribution. In his new role, Morrison will oversee all international sales, distribution, customer and channel support. He previously served the company as general manager. Morrison will also develop markets outside the U.S. for the company.
