Special Olympics sponsoring 2 Polar Plunges

GENEVA

Special Olympics Ohio is sponsoring the Geneva Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Feb. 9 at Geneva State Park and a plunge at Mosquito Lake State Park March 9.

The Geneva plunge includes a traditional plunge and Super Plunge. Some pre-registration and entertainment will be Feb. 8.

Registration is being accepted now at www.sooh.org.

Day-of-event registration and check-in is from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park lodge. A high school student plunge starts at 1 p.m., while the main plunge starts at 2 p.m.
