Reward offered for information on Hermitage bank robber


HERMITAGE, Pa.

Police are looking for a man who robbed PNC Bank on Hermitage Road.

Police said a man walked into the bank around noon Wednesday and showed the teller a note requesting cash. No weapon was shown.

The teller gave the man some cash, and he walked out.

He is white, 45 to 50 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a greenish-blue checkered coat and hood. He wore glasses and a brown hat with a brim.

Mercer County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 to anyone providing information resulting in the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
