The Rev. Philip Rogers heard the exchange of vows between Pamela Soda and Christopher Gray during a wedding ceremony July 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
After the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre, they honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Columbus.
Parents of the bride are Roslyn Soda and Joey Marinelli of Lake Milton and Jim and Donna Soda of Sarasota, Fla. The groom is a son of David and Dawn Gray of Lakewood, Ohio.
The bride wore a diamond-white sweetheart neckline gown with tulle weaving throughout the bodice, gently gathered into a ballgown skirt. Handmade flowers adorned the length of the train.
Wearing a royal purple gown was Diana Awad Scrocco, matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittney Gray, sister of the groom; Nikki Soda, sister-in-law of the bride; Joanna Pucilowska; Samantha Schultz and Valene Kelly. They wore iris eyes colored gowns.
Justin Krocek performed the duties of best man and groomsmen were Justin Gray, the groom’s brother; Jim Soda, the bride’s brother; Tom Pergola; Mark Christie; and Christopher Mullen.
Ushers were Daniel Moderick and Jonathan Staley.
The bride, who will use Soda Gray as her surname, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in biological science; received a master’s degree in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University and is currently enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University.
The groom is a graduate of John Carroll University where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He received a juris doctorate from Cleveland State University Marshall College of Law and is an attorney in Columbus.
