Trinity United Methodist Church provided the setting for the June 9 wedding of Kristi Rider of Boardman and Dustin Schenker of Canfield, who were later honored at a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman. The Rev. Nate Ortiz officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Jeanne Rider of Boardman. Parents of the groom are Ken and Judy Schenker of Canfield.

The bride wore a strapless ivory and silver lace A-line gown with a fitted bodice that was adorned with seed beads, sequins, pearls and crystals and completed with a chapel train.

Sister of the bride, Lauren Rider, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Rider, sister-in-law of the bride; Racquel Jones; and Kelly Kimpel. Flower girl was Anika Luebke.

Attendants wore black satin one-shoulder gowns with ruched waists.

A brother of the groom, Cody Schenker, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Garrett Schenker, a brother of the groom; Brock Christie; and Johnny Luc.

Ushers were Brian Rider, a brother of the bride; and Barry Kimpel.

The bride is a graduate of Malone College and received a bachelor’s degree in education. She is a physical education teacher for Poland schools.

The groom is attending Youngstown State University and is studying psychology. He is an admissions representative for ITT Technical College, Youngstown.

After a honeymoon to Maidera Beach, Fla., they live in Canfield.
