The Rev. John Keehner heard the exchange of vows between Brianna Wielbruda and Joseph Taormina, both of Austintown, during a wedding ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown.
After the newlyweds accepted congratulations at a reception at St. Mark’s Orthodox Church Hall, Liberty, they honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They live in Austintown.
The bride is the daughter of Leon and Debbie Wielbruda of Austintown. Parents of the groom are Joseph and Suzanne Taormina of Austintown.
The bride wore an ivory satin off-the-shoulder, dropped-waist beaded gown adorned with a beaded belt and ribbon, and fit and flare mermaid skirt, completed with a train.
Jen Avery was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tammy McFarland, a cousin of the bride; and Heather Blazo, a sister of the groom.
The flower girl was Isabella Blazo, a niece of the groom. The attendants wore black and red gowns.
Steve Berdis performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Joe Wielbruda, a brother of the bride; and David Blazo, brother-in-law of the groom.
The couple are both managers at Giant Eagle in Boardman.
