25 students from Columbiana to attend Obama inauguration

Twenty-five Columbiana high school students will attend the public inauguration of President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C.
Sponsored through the gifted office of the Columbiana County Educational Service Center, students from Beaver, Crestview, East Liverpool, Leetonia and Salem traveled to Washington, where they planned to visit many sites through this weekend.
The inauguration ceremony is Monday.
Students will visit many of the Smithsonian Institutions, the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and memorials .
Students will spend an afternoon at the Holocaust Museum and attend an Inaugural Ball with other U.S. students.
The group is traveling with WorldStrides, an education-based travel company.
