WARREN

A city man charged for purportedly firing a gun outside the Olympic Inn on Parkman Road Northwest on Aug. 4, hitting a woman sleeping in a house next door, has been arrested.

Antonio M. Price, 26, of Arthur Drive Northwest was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Friday at a house in the 2200 block of Cranwood Drive Southwest on warrants charging him with aggravated robbery, two counts of improperly discharging a firearm and felonious assault.

Price has been listed among the Top 5 Most Wanted by the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitives Task Force since mid-October, about a month after he failed to appear for a Sept. 19 hearing in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

He was picked up Friday by the task force.

On Monday, Judge Peter Kontos of common pleas court ordered that Price be held on $250,000 bond. Price will return to court Wednesday.

Police say Price fired a weapon from the parking area of the Olympic Inn at 2:15 a.m., hitting Pamela Dial, 43, in the head, causing severe injuries. She remained in critical condition in a Cleveland hospital for several weeks.

Dial was asleep in her bed when the bullet passed through the wall of the home and hit her. She had complained to officials about rowdy conditions at the tavern only days earlier. The tavern has been closed voluntarily since the shooting.

If convicted of the charges related to the Olympic Inn and a separate charge related to an Aug. 17 incident in the 2400 block of Cranwood Drive, Price could be sentenced to 40 years in prison.
