Police seized 106 grams of cocaine in the second such drug arrest in three weeks.

Police arrested Aaron Lee Rogers, 19, of Gluck Street in Youngstown at 1:06 a.m. Monday on Jacobs Road at U.S. Route 422, a police report says.

Police initiated a traffic stop after seeing Rogers fail to stop for a stop sign on Gladstone Road at Woodland Avenue, the report says.

Police had Rogers get out of his SUV after he appeared nervous and had a hard time producing his insurance and registration cards, the report said.

Police searched the SUV and found a softball-sized bag underneath the dashboard and console. The bag had two separate bags of suspected cocaine and another bag of suspected crack cocaine, the report said.

Police also found more than $2,000 in cash in Rogers’ wallet.

Police said they also found a loaded .40-caliber handgun in the SUV.

The report said the gun had a hollow-point round in the chamber ready to fire, with 12 live rounds in the magazine.

Police also found a scale with white powder on it, the report said.

Rogers was in the city jail without bond on charges of drug trafficking, possession of drugs, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His arraignment was to take place this morning in Campbell Municipal Court.

Police also made a traffic stop around 3 a.m. Dec. 22 on McCartney Road near McDonald’s and searched the car, finding powdered cocaine and a baseball-sized rock of crack.

Oscar Lee Williams, 26, of New Castle, Pa., was charged with trafficking in that case.
