Paula Howard Devine of Liberty and James Harold Paine of East Palestine were married Oct. 19 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where Pastor John Temple and the Rev. Jerry Krueger officiated at the 2:30 p.m. wedding ceremony.

A reception followed at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Patricia Howard of Warren and Skeeter and Kara Paine of East Palestine.

The couple graduated from Youngstown State University. The bride received a bachelor’s degree in combined science and is a pharmaceutical district sales manager for Abbott Laboratories, Cleveland. The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and is product manager of 4-Wheel Drive Hardware in Columbiana.

After a honeymoon to Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, the couple reside in Liberty.
