Ashley Basile v Aaron Oeken

St. Maron Church provided the setting for the 2 p.m. Aug. 11 wedding of Ashley Basile, daughter of David and Marie Basile of Boardman, and Aaron Oeken, son of Charles and Cynthia Oeken of Ashland, Ohio.

Chorbishop Michael Kail officiated, and a reception followed at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride wore a light ivory strapless gown featuring corded lace, beadwork, flowers and a corset closure.

Samantha Basile, a sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Fyock and Katrina DiCintio, also sisters of the bride; Jennifer Foley, sister of the groom; Natasha Rafidi, cousin of the bride; and Adrienne Sabo and Erin Laughlin. Junior bridesmaid was Alannah DiCintio, niece of the bride; and Brianna Oeken, the groom’s niece, was flower girl. The attendants wore coral gowns.

Steve Oeken, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Prymicz, Trevor Davies, Brad Borchart, Mike Barr, Brian Magee and Bryan Knight. Ring bearer was Derek DiCintio, a nephew of the bride.

The bride is executive director of Engage! Cleveland. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Youngstown State University. The groom is a lead financial management analyst for Defense Finance & Accounting Service in Cleveland. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio Northern University.

After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple reside in North Olmsted, Ohio.
