Hotel construction knocks out power at Eastwood Mall

Power was knocked out to about 75 percent of the Eastwood Mall early Tuesday when a contractor working on the construction of the new Residence Inn hotel hit an underground power line about 8:30 a.m.

The city restored the power about 11:15 a.m., said Ken Kollar, property manager for the Eastwood Mall Complex.
