9th Hope Charity Basketball Classic Feb. 2

YOUNGSTOWN

The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley will present its Ninth Annual Game of Hope Charity Basketball Classic at 4 p.m. Feb. 2 in Beeghly Center at Youngstown State University.

The game benefits the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to benefit ironically/terminally ill children so they may have the experiences generally afforded healthy children. The event has raised more than $75,000 in its first eight years.

Teams are made up of elected officials, community leaders and media personalities from the Mahoning Valley. Tickets are $6 at the door. Tickets also can be purchased at www.hopemv.org.
