Alliance hospital schedules volunteer orientation program

Alliance Community Hospital, 200 East State St., is offering its “Ventures in Volunteering” mandatory orientation program for potential hospital volunteers Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. in Conference Room 1-A.

There are some 50 volunteers service areas including those that are clerical or patient centered. The hospital attempts to tailor each volunteer’s service to their skills and comfort level,” said Michele Quinn, coordinator of volunteer services.
