Name: Jacob Miller and Rachel Jeswald

Instrument: Jacob: Trumpet; Rachel: Clarinet

Q. When did you start playing your instrument?

A. Both Jacob and Rachel joined the band in fifth grade.

Q. Best memory of being in band/marching band?

A. Jacob: The best memories of band are attending Massillon Band Night and when I went to Disney World with the band.

Rachel: My best memories are playing at Massillon Band Night each year, when I went to Cedar Point with the band, and the most memorable is when I went to Disney World in my freshman year. I enjoyed participating in Solo and Ensemble Competitions and received either a I or II rating.

Q. Why is music important to you?

A. Jacob: Music gave me a chance to meet some really nice and interesting friends.

Rachel: I believe music is important because I enjoy playing in the band, and it creates a lot of wonderful memories.

Q. What college do you hope to attend/intended major?

A. Jacob: I plan to attend Youngstown State University and major in Geology.

Rachel: I would like to major in Finance, but I am still undecided on which college I may attend.
