Police ID woman found dead Wednesday in Warren

WARREN

Police identified the woman whose body was found on Vernon Street Northwest near Freeman Street as that of Janell D. Embry-McGriff, 48, of Hall Street Northwest.

Police found her body at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday after they were alerted by neighbors.

Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, Trumbull County coroner, was conducting an autopsy Thursday, but police said the body showed no obvious signs of foul play.
