WASHINGTON
The Mahoning Valley’s two congressional representatives both voted in favor of the deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff late Tuesday night.
U.S. Reps. Tim Ryan, D-17th of Niles, and Bill Johnson, R-6th of Marietta, both voted in support of the bill.
In Pennsylvania, Republican Mike Kelly who represents the Shenango Valley also voted in favor of the bill.
The bipartisan 257-167 roll call Tuesday by the House avoided the so-called fiscal cliff of middle-class tax increases and spending cuts and sent the measure to President Barack Obama.
Here is how the complete Ohio delegation voted. A Y is a yes vote in favor of the deal. An N is a no vote:
