Police continue to investigate three recent shootings, but they are getting little cooperation from two men, both of whom suffered gunshot wounds to the leg about the same time Monday afternoon.

Khiry J. Taylor, 20, of Idylwild Street Northeast, was shot in the leg about 2:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Idylwild, police said.

Antonio L. Dukes, 25, of Brier Street Southeast, meanwhile, showed up at St. Joseph Health Center at 3:08 p.m. with a gunshot wound of the leg.

Dukes said an unknown person shot him in the leg while he was jogging in the area of Milton, Brier and Burton streets Southeast.

Police are investigating to determine whether the two shootings are related, but neither victim is cooperating, detectives said, adding that neither man appears to have life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, Desmond Talley, 35, of West Park Drive Southwest, reported being shot in the groin by a female at 7:02 a.m. Friday at the woman’s home on Garden Street Northwest, but police have not yet been able to interview Talley.

In another matter, police were called to 405 Washington St. NW at 5:56 p.m. Monday for a 51-year-old woman who reported her child’s father threatened her with a knife, then cut himself.

The man, also 51 and also of the Washington Street address, was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for a psychological evaluation and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
