New bread mix

Never baked bread?

Fleischmann’s Simply Homemade No Knead Bread Mix is a good first step.

Mix water into the box’s contents (packets of yeast, sugar, bread mix), shape dough into a loaf, let rise, then bake.

Testers say dough was easy to handle, produced an artisan-sturdy loaf and took less than an hour from start to finish.

Flavors include Country White, Stoneground Wheat, Multi-Grain and Italian Herb.

Suggested retail price is $2.99 for a 14-ounce box.

Way Better chips

Change up the snack lineup for the next TV awards show with Simply Sprouted’s Way Better Snacks tortilla chips.

Sprouted ingredients (quinoa, broccoli and daikon radish seeds), join corn in the six-flavor lineup that includes the usual suspects (multigrain, blue corn, etc.)

It’s the sweet chili version that won over tasters, while sweet potato was a close second.

Eat 11 chips, notes the bag, and you’ll take in 130 calories.

Suggested retail price for a 5.5-ounce bag: $3.49.
