WARREN
Taylor Ervin-Williams, 19, of Belmont Street Northwest, was arraigned Monday on two counts each of abduction and aggravated robbery and single counts of aggravated burglary and failure to comply with the orders of a police officer after an incident late Friday on Charles Street Southeast.
A judge entered an innocent plea to the five felony charges and set bond at $325,000 Monday in Warren Municipal Court. If convicted, Ervin- Williams could get more than 30 years in prison.
Police said they were called to 156 Charles Ave. SE at 10:45 p.m. for a possible abduction case involving a tan Buick Century, and spotted the car and tried to make a traffic stop.
Ervin-Williams, the driver, was taken into custody after a car and foot chase.
The two victims, a 44-year-old woman from Charles Avenue Southeast and a 19-year-old female from Belmont Street Northwest, reported that Ervin-Williams walked into 156 Charles, pointed a gun at their heads and demanded that they go to an ATM to get money.
Ervin-Williams drove the two women to an ATM at West Market Street and Tod Avenue, where they gave him money, then fled from the car.
Ervin-Williams was found in an upstairs bedroom at 352 Belmont.
Breya Emerson, 19, of 354 Emerson was charged with obstructing justice for purportedly lying and attempting to conceal the whereabouts of Ervin- Williams, police said.
