Youngstown man pistol whipped, robbed over the weekend
YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the man who entered a South Side home, pistol whipped one of the occupants and ran off with the victim’s wallet.
According to police, a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were sitting in an East Boston Avenue home late Friday evening when a man came through the door brandishing a gun and ordering them to the floor.
The assailant, wearing a hooded shirt and dark pants, hit the man in the face with the gun before going through his pockets and taking his wallet.
The armed thief attempted to steal a television, but it proved too large to carry so he just ran out of the house, police said.
