AUCTIONS

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will host an auction of pies and specialty desserts with Midway and Leetonia Mennonite churches at 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be a food stand at 5 with sandwiches, walking tacos, drinks and desserts. The event is a fundraiser to send church youth to a summer convention in Phoenix, Ariz. Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club will host its annual quarter auction Thursday at Kuzman’s Bar and Lounge, 1025 State St., Girard. Doors open at 6 p.m., and admission is $5. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Take your own quarters. Vendors featured are Mary Kay Cosmetics, Premier Jewelry, For Every Home, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Avon, Pampered Chef, Lia Sophia, Perfectly Posh, Thirty One and Personalized Etching. CARD, BINGO PARTIES

Girard Eagles 2172 Ladies Auxiliary will have a spring card and bingo party at 2 p.m. April 7 at the Eagles Hall, 26 W. Wilson Ave. Doors will open at noon, and a light lunch will be served until 1:30 p.m.

Warren Republican Women’s Club’s annual card party and style show will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at McMenamy’s Banquet Center, 235 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles. Cost is $8 per person. Take a game if you don’t play cards. The style show will feature fashions from Coldwater Creek, and there will be a light lunch, door prize basket and basket auction. CRAFT SHOWS

QUILT SHOWS

Wilmington Township Civic League will sponsor a quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16 at Wilmington Township-Mercer County Municipal Building, 35 Auction Road, New Wilmington, Pa. Mary Neitzel’s quilts will be featured. Admission is $2, and refreshments will be available. Some quilts will be for sale. A Log Cabin quilt will be raffled at the annual garage sale May 18. West Side Cats is preparing for its second annual motorcycle poker run July 31 at Austintown Park. Vendors who sell motorcycle related items, pet related items, crafts, art, trash and treasure, etc., are needed. Space rental is $15. Donations are being sought for new items such as gift cards for gift baskets that will be raffled at the event. Bands and food will be available. TRIPS

Relay for Life Team Rachel is sponsoring a trip to Mountaineer on March 23. The bus will depart at 10 a.m. from the parking lot of St. Edward Church, 240 Tod Lane, Youngstown. Boarding will begin at 9:30. The bus will leave Mountaineer at 4 p.m. and arrive at the church about 5. Cost per person is $30.
