“Community Connection” (7 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 7 p.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): February is American Heart Month. Allison Oltmann and Michele Janci of the American Heart Association will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss issues of heart health. Janci will share her inspiring story of battling congestive heart failure at age 42.
“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. today on MyYTV): Joining host Andrea Mahone and Kim Hamilton will be Dr. Rev. Robin Woodberry, Francine Jefferies and Al Stabilito to discuss the future of the Catholic church, a new employment program with MYCAP and an update in the Shawn Wilson murder conviction. The guest panel will evaluate if the church is a safe place to be, and new developments will enhance the changes for the future. MYCAP has a new training program to help the unemployed. And letters can be sent to help the appeal process for Wilson’s murder conviction.
