HOWLAND

Howland Local Schools will accept applications for open enrollment for the 2013-14 school year during March.

Applications may be picked up in person at the front desk of the administration offices, 8200 South Street SE, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday starting Friday.

St. Patrick registration

St. Patrick School is accepting registration for the 2013-14 school year.

The school, 38 E. Water St., is accepting registration for kindergarten through eighth grade. The school’s kindergarten is an all-day program. Busing is available from Youngstown, Brookfield, Liberty and Hubbard.

A before/after school program runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The Ohio Ed. Choice Scholarship (voucher) is accepted.

The school offers financial aid, monthly payment programs and tuition assistance programs to families.

St. Patrick Preschool, North Main Street, is accepting registration for children age 3 to 5 for 2013-14. Call 330-534-1928 for information about the program.

Presentations set at WCLC

Boardman

Willow Creek Learning Center will offer two presentations for people interested in learning more about the private Christian school.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday and at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, visitors may tour the facilities and learn about the kindergarten curriculum and application process.

Those unable to attend may call the school at 330-758-6871 for information and to set up a tour. WCLC serves preschool through eighth grade.

St. Rose accepts registrations

St. Rose School is accepting registration for kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2013-14 school year.

A $50 registration fee is required. Call the school office at 330-545-1163 to secure registration material or to schedule a tour of the school.

Students entering first through eighth grades may call the school office to set up a shadow day, a day spent with their prospective class.

The school is an Ohio Education Choice Scholarship (voucher) participating school.

The school offers busing from Girard, Liberty, McDonald and Youngstown. Before and after school care is available through Sunny Days Day Care and Pre-School, located in the school building.

Kindergarten Screening is scheduled for Friday. Call the school office for an appointment.

District continues open enrollment

Lowellville

The Lowellville Local School District will continue its inter-district open enrollment for the 2013-14 school year. Applications will be available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Friday at the main school office, 52 Rocket Place.

Applications also will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during regular school days from March 4 through March 28.
