YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State junior guard Kendrick Perry injured his knee during practice Wednesday and could miss significant time, sources said Thursday. At least one report has Perry missing the team’s final three regular-season games.

Perry, who injured his left knee during summer league play in June, was seen Thursday walking on crutches on campus. It is not known which knee is injured or whether the injuries are related.

Perry is second in the Horizon League in scoring at 16.9 points per game, first in steals (2.0) and fifth in assists (4.1).

Neither YSU coach Jerry Slocum nor Perry was available for comment. YSU plays Central Michigan on Saturday.
