Holy Family School hosted a family fun night for students and parents at the end of National Catholic Schools Week Feb. 2. The event, which took place in many of the classrooms throughout the school building, offered a variety of entertainment and prizes, including basketball, bowling, baseball, a Chinese auction, food, clowns, karaoke, a cake walk, DJ, face painting and more.
There were also many different games to be played in different classrooms. One popular game was Fish Pond. Another game students enjoyed was called Alligator Toss, where students tried to throw bean bags into blow-up alligator mouths.
“The family fun night is a great activity to get everybody together for some fun and relaxation,” said Jen Latell. “My daughter, Bree, learned a lot during Catholic Schools Week and I think this is a great way for the school to treat the students after all their hard work.”
The family fun night at Holy Family School is put on every year after Catholic Schools Week.
