The Boardman Lions Club will hold its 15th annual Night at the Races Fundraiser on March 2 at the Operating Engineers Hall on McClurg Road.

The $10 entrance fee includes an all-you-can-eat buffet sponsored by several area restaurants, beer and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. The evening will also feature a basket raffle and silent auction with baskets donated from a variety of area restaurants, specialty shops and events.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with races beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local Seeing Eye Pilot Dog Program and the Coats for Kids campaign available to all Boardman students, in conjunction with Target.

The Boardman Lions club also recycles used eyeglasses and provides new eyeglasses and exams for both kids and adults who qualify for the program, among several other community-based initiatives. To learn more about the Boardman Lions Club and Night at the Races, visit www.BoardmanLions.com.
