Phantoms to offer family fun at game Sunday

The Youngstown Phantoms hockey team will have Family Day this Sunday when it hosts the Muskegon Lumberjacks at Covelli Centre. The highlight will be a visit from the Fur Circus, a mascot act that brings humorous antics to arenas and events across the country.

Family Day also will include pregame activities on the concourse and a free postgame skate for fans with the Phantoms players. A limited number of skates will be available for free for the postgame skate, but fans are encouraged to bring their own.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for pregame fun, including free face painting, a design-a-sign station and the Fur Circus. The game starts at 1 p.m. The Fur Circus will entertain during play stoppages and between periods.
