Student scholarships are available

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., a public service organization, will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Mahoning or Trumbull counties or New Castle public schools.

Requirements are: must be a graduating high school senior or current scholarship recipient; plan to enroll in bachelor or associate degree program at an accredited college as a full-time student; have a grade-point-average of 2.5 or higher and be of black African descent.

Finalists will have a face-to-face panel interview in April. Scholarship awards will be paid upon confirmation of registration in school and awards are for one year. Candidates may apply and be awarded scholarships for no more than two years.
