CANFIELD

Argus Masonic Lodge 545 recently paid tribute to 14 of its longtime members at an awards night at the lodge.

Those honored were William C. Haggis of Dover, Ohio, for 60 years; Glenn J. Ringer of Youngstown, and Eugene W. Raupach and George V. Timar, both of Canfield, for 50 years; and Paul Hershey, Charles D. Jubak, John J. Koscelansky, Jerome A. Kavach and Ralph A. Ruggiero, all of Youngstown, Robert W. Ensign of Columbus, Ross D. Lucarell of Canfield, Richard A. Meshula of Berlin Center, James T. Johnson of Jamestown, Pa., and Gregory B. Smith Sr. of Poland, for 25 years. Each man received a gold pin to mark the occasion.

Guests were Allan G. Bohr and families of the honored guests.

Master of ceremonies and photographer for the evening was Denny Furman.

The 121,000 Masons in Ohio provide approximately $15 million in charitable giving annually that includes scholarships, Special Olympics summer games, training for Ohio school teachers, elderly care and needy Ohio families and individuals through their charitable foundation.
