Three Days Grace tickets to go on sale

AUSTINTOWN

Radio station WWIZ Rock 104 will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a concert featuring Three Days Grace on May 17 at Rodeo Music Hall, 1743 Raccoon Road.

Tickets are $30 and go on sale Saturday at Biketown Harley-Davidson in Austintown, Chili’s in Boardman and online at realrock104.com.

The concert is the latest in a long partnership between promoter Corey Ward and WWIZ. The list includes Shinedown, Hinder, Seether, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Breaking Benjamin and Saliva.

Band Jam slated at Fitch High School

AUSTINTOWN

The Fitch High School Parent Teacher Student Association will have Band Jam from 7 to 9 p.m. March 1 in the school auditorium, featuring Alteras and Northern Whale. Tickets are $5. To order, contact Becky at wimpyskid@zoominternet.net. Tickets also wil be sold at the door. Merchandise from both bands will be for sale.

Alteras is a five-piece post-hard-core band that plans to release an EP this summer.

Northern Whale is an alternative/indie band that has opened for Foxy Shazam and shared billing with Attack Attack, Machine Gun Kelly and The Devil Wears Prada. Their single, “When I Arrived,” spent 14 weeks on the Indie Music Channel top 10.
